the night was positively weird, but at the end very little was lost, outside of Joel and Darling's purse, and nothing was gained.
(After reading this post it seems to me I have to make a note here. Joel and darling do not share a purse. Darlene's purse got lost, stolen actually, and Joel got lost too, although he was recovered by some cops in a park at seven in the morning, and brought back to gringo-land, hungover and walletless. )
